Hello Valerie! You are qualified to take the Chemical Technician Licensure Exam as long as you meet the minimum 30 units requirement in Chemistry and Chemistry-related subjects (including those involving chemical analysis, for example, Food Chemistry and Analysis).
You may present your TOR to the PRC and Board of Chemistry and let them evaluate the same. As much as we would want to help, it is in the authority of the PRC and Board of Chemistry to make the final decision regarding licensure exam eligibility.

Hi Paula,

Hi! Do you know a school where I can take my lacking units in chemistry? Thanks
Hello Sha!
If you are referring to the 30-unit requirement to take the ChemTech Boards, the Board of Chemistry released guidelines on Chem Tech subjects that can be offered by educational institutions to augment unit deficiencies. We’ll keep you updated regarding this matter, but as far as we know, certificate programs for those who wish to complete the 30-unit requirement for ChemTech licensure exam application are being offered by Silliman University and the University of San Carlos.
To clarify, it is best to consult the PRC/Board of Chemistry regarding this matter.
Best regards,
The SRC Team
